Baguio Adventure

Last May was my first trip alone in a bus! I boarded a Victory Liner bus at around 11pm and was seated at seat no. 1! Cool. I've been to Baguio several times already but this time I had to go and meet my friends. I arrived at around 4am where I had to look for the hotel in the dark. They were checked in at Microtel. It was pretty cold outside. I had to wake my friends and ask for updates as to what happened to their trip. (Since they arrived earlier than me.) I had to give them time to sleep some more while I just watched the tv.

At around 6am Kit & I started off with a morning walk at the Burnham park. It was drizzling but we didn't get that in the way. We had 3 rounds of the park. Afterwhich we headed back to the hotel for a quick shower then went to the Lourdes Grotto to meet the brother of my brother in law. We also took the time to do more exercise by climbing the stairs. Owen went to the top but the rest had to stay at the shopping area. We didn't buy anything though.

Next stop was the Mines View Park. I've heard so much about the St. Bernard dogs and had to take the oppurtunity to have my picture taken for Php20 I think. I'm not so much into dogs so I was a bit afraid as they are indeed big but they are friendly as well. After that we went to The Mansion then to the Botanical Gardens. Lunch was at the Solibao Restaurant at Burnham Park. We had a simple but filling lunch.

We decided to have desserts at PNKY cafe however we got a bit dissappointed as they don't have decaf and selection of tea is only 2. Green or black. The place is okay but as my friend would say it was overrated. We then headed for the market then to the Cathedral for our saturday anticipated mass. We had dinner at Little John's at the Camp John Hay. We had a little gimmik night and went to La Azotea had a glass of Malibu Rhum then decided to go to Koffee Klatch.
It was a nice venue to relax plus the crowd is more on our generation. hehehe. Music was great as there was live music. I didn't order coffee as I am not a coffee drinker but I usually go to cafes to drink tea and just bum around. The cafe is very relaxing. The place is full when we got there a proof that they are famous here. With the live music and good voices of the performers we stayed until the end of the show which was around 12mn. It was a great way to end our baguio trip. Now I know where to go when I come back. :o)

newbie

Gosh! Finally I was able to create a blog for myself. Let's see how long I can keep this. I just got connected using my new neo vivid laptop and its really hard to type in this keyboard as the keys are so small but what the heck getting this laptop was a great thing... winning it from a raffle! what else can i ask for? Imagine I was about to leave the party when they decided to draw the grand prize and suddenly I heard my name being called on the microphone! hahaha. It took a while for me to get this probably they had to buy it first. hehehe. I still have to give thanks to the sponsor of course. I still owe them something.

So what do i do now? Well i better get use to this as this will seem to be a start of something worthwhile. Blogging will definitely be one of the things that I would like to get into using this nice prize. Don't you think?
